Die vorliegende Dissertation untersucht die Notfallversorgung durch öffentliche und private Rettungsdienste in Namibia. Dabei stehen Struktur, Allokation und Lokation der Rettungskräfte sowie daraus resultierende Verhaltensweisen der Bevölkerung im Fokus der Forschung. Die Untersuchung soll mittels einer Politikfeldanalyse eine Beschreibung und Erklärung der Systemgestalt zum Zeitpunkt der Erhebung sowie der Entstehung des Systems ermöglichen.
